Containerd Design and Architecture: Integration with Docker and Kubernetes

Explore the design and architecture of containerd in this comprehensive conference talk from the Open Source Summit. Gain insights from containerd maintainers on how to get started as a user or integrator. Delve into containerd's image management, container execution, Windows operations, and its integration with Kubernetes through the Container Runtime Interface (CRI). Discover how Docker's architecture is evolving to fully integrate with containerd and learn about Google Cloud and IBM's utilization of containerd in their platforms. Featuring expert speakers from Google, Docker, and IBM, this session provides a deep dive into the world of container technology and its applications in modern cloud environments.
