Modeling Multisector Dynamics to Inform Adaptive Pathways
Explore the field of Multisector Dynamics (MSD) in this comprehensive AGU conference session. Delve into the complex interactions between technological, societal, natural, and managed systems to understand and project dynamic adaptive futures. Learn how MSD research informs management strategies and advances scientific discoveries across various sectors. Gain insights into modeling techniques that bridge sectors, scales, and disciplines to address grand scientific challenges. Topics covered include water-economy-climate change analysis, interdisciplinary approaches to complex systems, and the design of adaptive policy pathways in uncertain environments. Discover how MSD contributes to managing trade-offs and synergies in response to environmental, technical, and societal changes and shocks.
