Discovering In-Network Caching Policies in NDN Networks from a Measurement Perspective - ACM ICN 2020
Explore a conference talk that delves into the measurement techniques for discovering in-network caching policies in Named Data Networking (NDN). Learn about the importance of caching in NDN and how different caching schemes can impact network performance. Discover the feasibility of detecting NDN caching schemes through active measurement from edge systems. Understand how to determine router algorithms for content caching decisions and infer caching probabilities for stochastic schemes. Examine the robustness of these measurement methods against cross traffic impacts on router cache content. Gain insights into the challenges and future work in measuring NDN network states, including estimating hop counts and detecting caching policies on real network topologies.
