Custom Models in No Time - How Active Learning Is Changing AI

Explore how active learning is revolutionizing AI in this 23-minute conference talk from #HLTCon 2018. Discover BasisTech's innovative approach to reducing the time and cost associated with creating human-annotated training data for machine learning models. Learn about the development of an active learning annotator designed to streamline the annotation process, significantly increasing efficiency and reducing the number of tagged documents required to achieve desired accuracy levels. Gain insights into the challenges of annotating large datasets, such as the eight-person-month effort required for 500,000 Korean tokens in named entity recognition, and understand how this new technology aims to transform the landscape of AI model training.
