NVMe Computational Storage Standards and Command Sets
Explore NVMe's support for Computational Storage devices in this 51-minute technical presentation from the Storage Developer Conference 2023. Dive into the architecture of two essential command sets - the Computational Programs Command Set and the Subsystem Local Memory Command Set - and understand how they work together within the NVMe I/O Command Set architecture. Master the reachability architecture and copy support for Subsystem Local Memory while gaining deep insights into the NVMe framework for computational storage implementations. Intel's Kim Malone and Samsung's Bill Martin guide you through the technical specifications, command set details, and architectural considerations that enable computational storage capabilities in modern storage systems.
