C#'s Functional Journey - From Object-Oriented to Functional Programming

Explore C#'s evolution from an object-oriented language to one incorporating functional programming concepts in this hour-long conference talk by Mads Torgersen at NDC Sydney 2024. Trace the two-decade journey of C# as it gradually adopted functional programming features, examining how these additions have impacted coding practices. Through live examples, discover how object-oriented and functional paradigms can be effectively combined in C# programming. Gain insights into the language's development and learn how to leverage both programming styles in your projects. No prior C# experience is necessary to benefit from this informative presentation on the blending of programming paradigms.
