Dapr-Enabled WebAssembly Microservices - Integration with Infrastructure Services

YouTube·Dapr

Explore the integration of Dapr and WebAssembly (Wasm) for building lightweight, cross-platform, and secure microservices in this conference talk. Learn how the collaboration between WasmEdge and Dapr communities has led to the adoption of the Dapr Rust SDK for Wasm, enabling Rust-based microservices to access over 100 Dapr-compatible services when compiled to Wasm and deployed in WasmEdge. Discover the design and implementation of the WasmEdge Dapr SDK, future project directions, and practical examples of Dapr-enabled Wasm microservices in real-world use cases. Gain insights into overcoming Wasm's limitations in integrating with modern microservices infrastructure through the use of Dapr as a universal sidecar.
