No More SQLite - How to Write Tests With EF Core Using TestContainers
Learn how to improve integration testing for EF Core applications in this conference talk from NDC Oslo. Explore the limitations of traditional testing approaches like SQLite and dev databases, which can lead to maintenance issues and unreliable test results. Discover TestContainers, a powerful library available in multiple programming languages that offers a more robust solution for database testing. Through practical coding demonstrations, master implementing TestContainers with EF Core to create reliable integration tests. While examples focus on .NET and C#, gain transferable knowledge applicable across different technology stacks. Suitable for developers with basic understanding of unit and integration testing principles who want to enhance their database testing practices.
