How Animals Will Fare in a Changing Climate

Explore the impact of climate change on animal populations across diverse ecosystems in this 42-minute press conference from AGU. Gain insights from leading researchers as they present satellite-based observations and projections for species adaptation in rapidly changing habitats. Learn about polar bear population forecasts in the Arctic, the effects of North American droughts on mule deer and their predators, and shifts in the distribution of the world's largest wild reindeer herd. Hear from experts Kristin Laidre, David Stoner, and Andrey Petrov as they discuss how satellite technology is revolutionizing our understanding of habitat change and species response in environments ranging from the Arctic to the Mojave Desert.
