The Carbonate Forum - Burial Diagenesis

Explore burial diagenesis in carbonate rocks through a series of expert presentations in this 1 hour 18 minute conference talk from The Carbonate Forum. Delve into topics including hydrobreccias, zebra dolomite, and crack-seal textures in fault-controlled dolomite emplacement. Examine the effects of hydrocarbon emplacement on cementation in carbonate reservoirs. Investigate the diagenetic evolution of Jurassic platform carbonates along the NE Atlantic Margin. Learn about applying clumped isotope palaeothermometry to reconstruct thermal evolution in recrystallized calcite. Gain insights from researchers at leading institutions as they discuss their methodologies, findings, and implications for understanding carbonate diagenesis processes.
