Teaching Connections Between Algebra and Geometry - Part 2

Explore the intricate connections between algebra and geometry in this 30-minute lecture from the Insights into Mathematics series. Delve into Descartes' Cartesian geometry and conics, examine two fundamental theorems of projective geometry, and discover a non-standard perspective on the parabola. Investigate classical triangle geometry and the Euler line, and receive a brief introduction to Rational Trigonometry. Gain valuable insights into how these concepts can revitalize geometry as a core subject in school curricula, offering fresh ideas for mathematics education.
