On the Undecidability of the QWEP

Explore a thought-provoking lecture on the undecidability of the Quantum Weak Expectation Property (QWEP) delivered by Isaac Goldbring from the University of California, Irvine. Delve into the intricate connections between operator algebras and logic as part of the Workshop on Operator Algebras and Applications. Gain insights into this complex topic, which is a key component of the Thematic Program on Operator Algebras and Applications at the Fields Institute. Discover how the QWEP relates to broader concepts in mathematical logic and operator theory during this 51-minute presentation, originally given on August 31, 2023.
