World Logic Day - Set Theory Seminar Series Extended
Explore a comprehensive set theory seminar series featuring five distinguished speakers presenting on diverse topics in mathematical logic. Delve into Frank Tall's topological generalization of descriptive set theory, followed by Iván Ongay Valverde's examination of upper semi-continuous compact-valued functions and the K-sigma-projective hierarchy. Discover Clovis Hamel's insights on an undecidable extension of Morley's theorem, and engage with Spencer Unger's discussion on flows on the torus. Conclude with David Schrittesser's exploration of infinitesimals and probabilities. Gain deep insights into advanced set theory concepts, including sigma projective spaces, universal bareness, graph theorems, and second-order logic. Participate in audience questions and discussions to enhance understanding of these complex mathematical topics.
