Arrays and Matrices II - Data Structures in Mathematics Math Foundations

YouTube·Matrix Algebra

Explore matrices and their applications in this 31-minute video lecture from the Math Foundations series. Begin with a traditional introduction to matrices from linear algebra, then delve into a novel approach motivated by data structures. Review essential concepts in linear algebra, matrix algebra, and linear transformations. Learn about matrix multiplication, the algebra of n by n matrices, and m by n matrices. Discover a fresh perspective on matrices through the lens of pixels and screen displays, culminating in the definition of a maxel. Gain valuable insights into both classical and modern interpretations of matrices in mathematics and computer science.
