Algebraicity of BG and BunG - Talk 3

Explore advanced mathematical concepts in this seminar talk where Zhilin Luo delves into the algebraicity of BG and BunG stacks. Begin with a comprehensive review of stack definitions and algebraic stacks before examining the classifying stack BG and its properties as an algebraic stack. Learn about the stack Bun_{G,X}, with particular emphasis on cases where G = GL_n and X represents a smooth projective curve over an algebraically closed field k. Discover Weil's automorphic interpretation of Bun_{n,X}(k) and follow along with a detailed proof sketch demonstrating the algebraicity of Bun_{n,X}.
