Introduction to Stacks and Principal G-Bundles in Algebraic Geometry - Talk 1

Explore a comprehensive mathematics seminar talk where Nick Rozenblyum delivers a motivated introduction to the theory of algebraic stacks and principal G-bundles on algebraic curves. Delve into the moduli stack of principal G-bundles, examining its significance across various mathematical contexts, with special emphasis on its connections to geometric representation theory. Learn fundamental concepts about Bun_G and its applications through this nearly two-hour presentation delivered at the University of Chicago's BunG Seminar series on January 4th, 2023.
