Compact Generation of D-modules on BunG - Talk 15

Explore a mathematical seminar talk where Kirill Magidson delves into the compact generation of D-modules on Bun_G, a significant result attributed to Drinfeld and Gaitsgory. Learn about the fundamental concepts of compactly generated DG categories, examining classical examples from algebraic geometry including quasi- and Ind-coherent sheaves. Understand how D-modules operate on schemes and stacks, and discover the application of this theoretical framework to D-mod(Bun_G), building upon Beilinson's work on the stratification of Bun_G by contractive strata.
