The Surprising Humanness of Nature

The Surprising Humanness of Nature

Explore the paradoxical nature of binary thinking and human exceptionalism in this thought-provoking TEDx talk. Delve into how we define the world around us, assign binary views to complex concepts, and perceive ourselves as separate from nature. Chelsea van Deventer, a PhD candidate in Sociology at the University of New South Wales, challenges conventional perspectives by examining power dynamics and sociological constructs. Question your understanding of the relationship between humans and nature, and gain insights into the complexities of our world view. This independently organized TEDx event offers a unique opportunity to reconsider our place in the natural world and the implications of our current perceptions.
