What's Missing in Embedded Build Systems

Explore the gaps in embedded build systems like buildroot and openembedded (Yocto) in this 41-minute conference talk. Gain insights into the current state of these systems and discover the crucial elements developers need to address independently. Learn about essential components often overlooked in out-of-the-box solutions, including persistence and factory reset, per-device provisioning, updates, and verified boot. Understand how to leverage existing tools provided by buildroot and openembedded to bridge these gaps and enhance your embedded product development process.
