Stanford Seminar - On and Out-of-Body Interactions & Experiences
Explore the evolving landscape of human-machine interaction in this Stanford seminar featuring Dr. Jessica Cauchard from Ben Gurion University of the Negev. Delve into the design, development, and evaluation of natural techniques for on-body and out-of-body experiences, examining how mobile technologies are transforming to fit our lifestyles. Discover novel interaction techniques at the intersection of technology and design, and learn about the potential for transitioning between on-body and out-of-body interfaces. Gain insights into future technological developments that could extend human physical abilities, including applications in autonomous vehicles, drones, and intelligent devices. Follow Dr. Cauchard's research journey through various studies involving gesture recognition, drone communication, and human-robot interaction, culminating in a discussion on the symbiotic integration of humans and machines.
