Online-Voting und seine Grenzen - Kryptographische Verfahren und Realitätscheck

Explore the evolving landscape of online voting in this 27-minute conference talk from media.ccc.de. Delve into the increased interest in digital voting solutions, particularly during the pandemic years, and examine how cryptographic techniques like zero-knowledge proofs have enhanced security guarantees. Critically assess whether these theoretical improvements translate to real-world applications and consider the persistent limitations of online elections, regardless of the level of cryptography employed. Gain insights into the challenges and potential of digital voting systems as presented by speaker fxrh at MRMCD2024.
