Building an Active-Active HA Kubernetes Control Plane Cluster

Explore the implementation of an active-active high availability Kubernetes control plane cluster in this insightful conference talk. Discover how SAIC General Motors manages both traditional and cloud-native resources using operators since 2019, and learn about the challenges of single point of failure in multi-data-center environments. Examine the current industry solutions for Kubernetes high availability and delve into a novel approach for creating a bi-directional Kubernetes control plane cluster across dual data centers. Gain valuable insights into cross-cluster version management mechanisms and how they contribute to building a robust, fault-tolerant Kubernetes infrastructure for critical control plane operations.
