Delve into the challenges of slow application response times caused by Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs) and discover a solution that bridges the gap between database and application developers. Learn how NORM provides an easy-to-use alternative to traditional ORMs, allowing for efficient data transfer without sacrificing performance. Examine code examples from the NORM GitHub repository and gain insights into building "transport objects" that optimize communication between applications and databases. Uncover techniques to improve overall system performance while maintaining the simplicity that application developers appreciate in ORMs.
