YouTube·Lambda Calculus

Embark on a musical journey through functional programming in this entertaining 12-minute conference talk from !!Con 2022. Explore the lambda calculus, a logical formalism that represents programs using pure, anonymous, single-parameter functions. Discover how lambda functions can handle numbers, operators, booleans, control flow, and data structures. Sing along as speaker Anjana Vakil, a curious software developer and educator, explains the computational power and elegance of this fundamental abstraction in functional programming. Gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for lambda calculus while enjoying a quirky, nerdy presentation that combines music and programming concepts.
