Unifying gRPC APIs - Mastering gRPC Federation for Efficient BFFs

Explore gRPC Federation, an open-source tool for consolidating multiple gRPC APIs into a unified Backend for Frontends (BFFs), in this 20-minute conference talk by Shuhei Kitagawa from Mercari. Learn how to simplify the adoption of federation architecture for gRPC services using Protocol Buffer notations. Discover the basics of utilizing Protocol Buffers notation and Common Expression Language (CEL), as well as advanced features like the secure and scalable plugin system powered by WebAssembly. Gain comprehensive insights into leveraging gRPC Federation effectively, understanding its benefits for adopting federation architecture at scale, and simplifying the process of building, deploying, and managing BFFs on your platform.
