Autonomous Node Communication in Elixir - Towards RTPS Integration

Explore the potential of autonomous node communication in Elixir through this conference talk delivered by Hideki Takase at Code BEAM America 2022. Delve into the world of RTPS (Real-Time Publish Subscribe) protocol and its advantages in enabling nodes to automatically discover communication partners without complex IP address configurations. Learn about "Rclex," a client library for ROS 2 platform that integrates RTPS directly into Elixir. Discover the ongoing research and development efforts to bring Rclex's capabilities to Nerves devices and enable RTPS communication beyond NAT servers. Gain insights into the future possibilities of applying RTPS to wide-area distributed systems in the Elixir ecosystem.
