Realizing Composable Infrastructure Through DPUs - Building Modern Data Centers

Learn about Data Processing Units (DPUs) and their role in composable infrastructure through this technical talk from Marvell's Senior Principal Engineer. Explore how DPUs enable the separation and flexible allocation of datacenter resources like compute, memory, storage, and AI/ML accelerators across racks and pods. Discover the architecture of composable DPUs, including their hardware and software interfaces, orchestration mechanisms, and integration with cloud service providers' frameworks. Examine the current open-source software ecosystem supporting DPUs, understand areas needing improvement, and get insights into future developments in this emerging datacenter technology that's being widely adopted by major cloud providers.
