Practicality of Deploying and Managing Quantum Networks - From Point-to-Point Links to Metro Networks

Learn about quantum network deployment and management in this 16-minute technical presentation from Paul Wright, British Telecom's Optical and Quantum Networks Research Manager. Explore the evolution from point-to-point Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) links to modern network architectures enabling secure key distribution across multiple sites. Gain insights into trusted node architecture for QKD system interconnection and discover real-world implementation through the BT-Toshiba Quantum Secured Metro Network trial in London. Master the practical aspects of deploying and managing QKD networks, including critical security considerations for both quantum and classical components.
