Keep You Data Safe in a Containerized Application

Explore the challenges and solutions for persisting data in containerized applications in this 49-minute conference talk. Learn about the benefits and limitations of containers, focusing on storage options such as in-container storage, host-based storage, and external storage. Discover battle-proven techniques for adapting data management to modern, scalable containerized applications using Docker as the container runtime. Gain insights into container design, datastore considerations, and practical use cases like Gale Server. Understand how to effectively manage and secure data in non-trivial, long-running containerized applications, addressing compute, network, and storage challenges.
