Promises API in Node.js Core - Where We Are and Where We'll Get To

Explore the state of Promises API in Node.js core modules in this conference talk from JSConf EU 2019. Delve into the current status of Promise implementation, focusing on the experimental promise APIs in 'fs' and 'dns' modules. Examine the challenges faced by Node.js core modules still using the callback pattern and understand the need for change. Learn about the roadmap for implementing Promises across more core modules, the steps required to achieve this goal, and how developers can contribute to this effort. Gain insights into the future of asynchronous programming in Node.js and the potential impact of widespread Promise adoption in the core modules.
