Serverless or Servicefull
Explore the evolving landscape of cloud computing in this 24-minute conference talk by Sebastien Goasguen from Triggermesh. Delve into the debate between serverless and "servicefull" architectures, examining how the focus has shifted from hiding infrastructure complexity to integrating cloud services through events and functions. Discover how the cloud has become a new kind of kernel, composed of numerous APIs exposing various services. Learn about the potential of Kubernetes extensions in facilitating service integration and the development of servicefull applications. Gain insights into the future direction of cloud-native development and how it impacts the way we build and manage applications in a world increasingly dominated by cloud services.
