Reusing the BPF CI

Reusing the BPF CI

Explore the possibilities for improving the reusability of the BPF CI system in this 32-minute conference talk from the Linux Plumbers Conference. Dive into the current architecture managed by Meta, which uses Patchwork, GitHub Pull Requests, and GitHub Actions to run selftests on dedicated runners. Learn about the challenges of creating robust workflows with the existing infrastructure and discuss potential solutions for enhancing reusability. Discover how developers can validate patches and organizations can detect regressions using this system. Presented by Quentin Monnet, this recorded session from LPC 2022 offers valuable insights for those working with BPF and CI/CD frameworks in the Linux ecosystem.
