Unified in-Kernel IPC - KDBUS/Binder

Explore a conference talk on unified in-kernel IPC, focusing on KDBUS and Binder. Delve into the potential consolidation of these implementations, with particular emphasis on whether KDBUS could replace the in-kernel binder driver used in Android. Join the round-table discussion between Android developers and key upstream community members as they investigate this possibility. Gain insights into the ongoing work on KDBUS and the implications of binder being in the staging directory. This 18-minute presentation from the Linux Plumbers Conference offers a unique opportunity to understand the future direction of inter-process communication in Linux kernels, especially in the context of Android development.
