XArray - One Data Structure to Rule Them All
Explore the powerful XArray data structure in this 46-minute conference talk from linux.conf.au. Discover how XArray, initially designed to replace the Radix Tree, has evolved to potentially become the ultimate data structure in Linux development. Learn about its current applications as a replacement for IDR and doubly-linked lists, and gain insights into its future potential to supersede linked lists, rbtrees, and even hash tables. Delve into practical usage techniques for XArray in both present and future contexts, and understand its significance in the Linux 4.21 merge. Gain valuable knowledge about this versatile data structure that could revolutionize how developers approach data management in Linux and open-source software development.
