The Genius of RISC-V Microprocessors

Explore the revolutionary RISC-V microprocessor architecture in this conference talk from ACCU 2022. Delve into the unique design principles that set RISC-V apart from established industry standards like x86 and ARM. Discover how these differences translate into significant advantages for embedded systems, high-performance computing, and machine learning hardware. Learn from Erik Engheim, a principal consultant with extensive programming experience across multiple languages, as he explains why RISC-V is often referred to as the "Linux of microprocessors" and how its open instruction-set architecture is reshaping the industry.
