Structured Networking

Structured Networking

Explore the implementation of a simple networking application using sender/receivers in this conference talk from ACCU 2022. Dive into the proposed Structured Concurrency components for C++ standardization, learning how to build asynchronous tasks, integrate cancellation, and understand the underlying implementation. Discover the positive properties of the proposed standard while seeing how these abstractions can be applied to a realistic application. Gain insights from Dietmar Kühl, a senior software developer at Bloomberg L.P. and regular attendee of the ANSI/ISO C++ standards committee, as he demonstrates the practical use of these components in structured networking.
