Without Warning - Keeping the Noise Down in Legacy Code Builds

Explore techniques for managing compiler warnings in legacy code bases in this 16-minute conference talk from ACCU 2016. Learn how to effectively reduce warning noise without compromising code quality or introducing behavioral changes. Discover tools and strategies for selectively addressing warnings, enabling a quiet compile while maintaining actionable warnings for new code. Gain insights into balancing the need for warning reduction with the constraints of legacy systems, including time limitations and the potential risks of modifying "working" code without proper testing.
