Introducing User Centered Design to Augment Human Performance in Cyber Warfare

Learn about user-centered design principles and their application in cyber warfare through this 52-minute conference talk from BSides Knoxville 2015. Explore the user-centered design process, consumer-grade tools, and data visualization techniques such as network trees. Discover how to reorganize and abstract data, understand the ecosystem and dynamic morphology in cyber warfare contexts, and gain insights from the gaming industry's approach to user-centered design. Examine the importance of actionable value, proper data characterization, and visual consequences of wrong data or dates. Engage with concepts like Wireshark usage and ecosystem data analysis to enhance human performance in cyber operations.
