Functional Programming & Composing Actors

Functional Programming & Composing Actors

Explore functional programming and actor composition in this conference talk from YOW! 2015. Delve into designing systems capable of handling non-determinism, failure, and communication latency while maintaining feasible abstractions. Learn how to create robust, scalable applications using functional programming principles and the actor model. Gain insights from Viktor Klang, a distributed and concurrent programming enthusiast and former Tech Lead for the Akka Project. Discover practical approaches to building resilient systems that can effectively manage real-world challenges in software development.
