The World after Microservice Migration with Service Mesh and Contract Testing

Explore the challenges and solutions of microservice migration in this conference talk from GOTO Berlin 2018. Learn about service mesh architecture for managing inter-service communication, including practical aspects of deploying on AWS ECS and Kubernetes. Discover consumer-driven contract testing techniques to ensure API stability and prevent breaking changes. Gain insights into maintaining system stability, recovering from failures, and identifying performance bottlenecks in microservice ecosystems. Understand how to balance complexity between development and operations in a post-migration landscape.
