SkyPilot - An Intercloud Broker for Sky Computing

YouTube·USENIX Symposium on Networked Systems Design and Implementation (NSDI)

Explore a conference talk that introduces SkyPilot, an innovative intercloud broker designed to facilitate seamless workload migration between cloud providers. Learn about the concept of Sky Computing and how it addresses challenges related to data placement regulations and cloud outage protection. Discover the design and implementation of SkyPilot, which creates a fine-grained two-sided market, allowing users to view the cloud ecosystem as an integrated Sky of Computing rather than a collection of incompatible individual clouds. Gain insights into the benefits of this approach and its real-world applications as presented by researchers from UC Berkeley and ICSI.
