Where 2 Worlds Collide - Bringing Mimikatz et al to UNIX

Explore the intersection of UNIX and Active Directory infrastructures in this 44-minute Black Hat conference talk. Delve into the security implications of integrating UNIX systems into existing AD forests, a trend that has gained traction over the past 15 years. Examine various AD integration solutions for UNIX, both open-source and proprietary, and uncover the tools, tactics, and procedures that enable potential attacks on AD forests from UNIX platforms. Gain insights from Tim (Wadhwa-)Brown's research on this critical cybersecurity topic, bridging the gap between two distinct technological worlds and highlighting the importance of understanding cross-platform vulnerabilities in modern network environments.
