PicoDMA - DMA Attacks at Your Fingertips

Explore the world of DMA attacks with PicoDMA, a compact and powerful attack platform, in this 50-minute Black Hat conference talk. Discover how the tiny PicoEVB FPGA board, measuring just 22 x 30 x 3.8mm and costing around $220 USD, can be leveraged for sophisticated DMA attacks. Learn about the board's impressive capabilities, including its Xilinx Artix-7 FPGA and expansion options via digital and analog I/O connectors. Gain insights from speakers Joel Sandin and Ben Blaxill as they demonstrate how this stamp-sized device, no larger than a laptop's network card, can be used to execute potent DMA attacks, putting this technology at your fingertips.
