Reinventing the Transaction Script

Reinventing the Transaction Script

Explore a comprehensive reinvention of the Transaction Script pattern in this hour-long conference talk. Delve into functional programming principles to challenge the notion that Transaction Scripts are less sophisticated than layered architectures. Learn how to apply domain-driven design concepts while maintaining code simplicity and reusability. Discover the "Lego Philosophy" approach, understand the importance of "Bounded Context," and compare three different architectures. Gain insights into implementing workflows, evaluating the pros and cons of Transaction Scripts, and exploring Object Oriented workflow techniques. Enhance your understanding of business logic organization and architectural design in software development.
