Domain-Driven Refactoring

Domain-Driven Refactoring

Explore domain-driven refactoring techniques in this conference talk from NDC Oslo 2020. Learn how to transform anemic, procedural code into a more cohesive design using domain-driven principles. Discover methods for identifying code smells, applying appropriate design patterns, and safely refactoring existing applications. Gain insights into moving legacy code towards an idealized domain model, understanding when to implement specific patterns, and achieving a balance between current code and domain-driven model aspirations. Follow along with practical examples and code walkthroughs, including topics such as mediator patterns, offer value calculators, expiration types, and assignment logic.
