Extending Docker for Using Web3 - Decentralized Storage

Explore the challenges and potential solutions for extending Docker to use web3 and decentralized storage in this 22-minute lightning talk. Discover various options for implementing decentralized storage with Docker, including Containerd grpc extension, Containerd client push, Docker daemon customized push, local registry with alternative storage backend, and Docker Desktop extension. Learn about the obstacles encountered and workarounds developed while attempting to create an extension that enables docker push/pull operations using decentralized storage instead of a central registry. Gain insights from open-source developer Elek Márton as he shares his experience and findings in this informative presentation.
