Functional Reactive Programming in Elm

Explore Functional Reactive Programming (FRP) and its implementation in Elm through this conference talk at Strange Loop 2013. Discover how FRP simplifies the design and structure of interactive code for games, user interfaces, and robotics. Learn key FRP concepts applicable to any programming language and see how they can eliminate callback hell. Watch as the speaker live-codes a concise and readable Mario game, demonstrating the power of FRP in game development. Gain insights from Evan Czaplicki, a functional programmer dedicated to making functional languages more prevalent in industry, as he shares his expertise in Elm and its applications in web and cross-platform projects.
