Unlocking Multi-Cloud Observability: The Case Study of EO4EU Project's Observability Platform
Explore a case study on multi-cloud observability in this conference talk featuring the EO4EU Project's Observability Platform. Discover how a suite of community projects observes multi-cloud infrastructure across two OpenStack clouds and multiple Kubernetes clusters. Learn about the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps best practices for cross-cluster configuration management and replicability. Understand the "observer" and "observee" cluster annotation framework that enables automatic transmission of metrics, logs, and tracing data to a central cluster while maintaining local data availability. Gain insights into how open-source tools can be combined to provide comprehensive application insights in a multi-cloud environment.
