Space-Age GitOps - The Rise of the Humble Pull Request

Explore the evolution of GitOps practices in this conference talk by Zach Aller and Michael Crenshaw from Intuit. Discover how organizations can overcome common challenges in scaling GitOps by implementing three new rules: enabling developers to view hydrated diffs during the review process, ensuring reproducible manifest hydration, and handling environment promotions and rollbacks through automated pull requests. Learn about the benefits of using pull requests as a central hub for change review, discussion, and promotion gates within a familiar developer ecosystem. Gain insights into proposed Argo CD features designed to streamline the implementation of these next-generation GitOps practices across organizations.
