Building a Platform Engineering API Layer with kcp
Explore how kcp, a CNCF Sandbox project, revolutionizes platform engineering by extending Kubernetes API concepts beyond container orchestration. Discover how this 27-minute conference talk delves into the creation of a global control plane for internal services, enabling a SaaS-like experience between service providers and developers. Learn about the transformation of internal developer platforms into service marketplaces using familiar Kubernetes concepts and tools. Understand how kcp expands platform engineering beyond single Kubernetes clusters, scaling operations for platform teams and internal service providers. Gain insights into patterns benefiting both service providers and developers, and see how kcp simplifies their workflows in this informative presentation by Marvin Beckers from Kubermatic GmbH.
